Sous Chef (from 32 hours)

Are you a passionate chef with a love for gastronomy and a preference for working in a unique location? Then join the kitchen team of Romantik Hotel Kasteel Daelenbroeck in Herkenbosch!

We are looking for a Sous Chef who wants to use his/her creativity and craftsmanship in our kitchen, where quality, taste and experience are central.

  • Preparing high-quality dishes with fresh, local products
  • Thinking about the menu and developing new dishes
  • Managing and motivating the kitchen team (as sous chef)
  • Ensuring hygiene and compliance with HACCP guidelines
  • Efficient planning and organizing during busy (festive) events

Self-employed chef (from 32 hours)

Spoiling guests with your culinary skills, that's what you want. You help determine the menu and you provide leadership. Something for you? We are looking for a colleague who does not have a 9-to-5 mentality and likes to be creative with regional products. And together with colleagues, takes over the specialty kitchen when the chef is absent. In this position, you can fully express your creativity. You think along with the menus and advise. You also give your own twist to the dishes within the menu cycle. Of course, cleaning your kitchen equipment and the work environment is also part of your job description, as is daily inventory management and placing orders. You are trained as a chef (with completed education/training), are creative and you have at least 1 year of relevant work experience. You know what quality is, you can plan well and your knowledge of hygiene regulations is up-to-date.

Weekend & holiday employees (from 16 years)

Internships (32-38 hours per week)

Apprentice chef (32-38 hours)

Hey (upcoming) hospitality talent! During your internship as a chef you will discover your talents and learn all the ins and outs of the hospitality profession. Will you come and intern at our beautiful estate?


You are done with school, but not done learning. You want to gain practical experience in a nice kitchen and learn the tricks of the trade from the professionals.


We believe it is important that our students really participate. Not standing on the sidelines, but together with colleagues realizing the perfect dining experience for our guests. During your internship you will discover your talents!

Intern front office / reservations / sales & marketing (38 hours per week) Minimum 20 weeks. An enthusiastic intern who is proficient in several languages. You like to work in a team, you have strong communication skills and are not afraid of the phone. We are looking for someone with a proactive attitude, who is of course also eager to learn.
